Kefalonia is one of the best places to hire boats in Greece, and Fiscardo in particular gives you a head start — you can be swimming in a quiet bay within minutes of leaving the harbour. Compared with a general boat charter booked further afield in Greece, hiring locally means less time travelling and more time on the water.
Beyond independent hire, our boat tours take in the highlights of the northern coastline and the short hop across to Ithaca, with stops for swimming, lunch and photos along the way.
Based in Fiscardo Harbour — Serving All of Kefalonia’s North Coast
Our base is at the entrance of Fiscardo’s port, making pickup and drop-off straightforward whether you’re staying in the village or arriving from elsewhere on the island. We’re open every day from 9am to 5pm (5.30pm in high season), and self-drive boats are permitted to travel up to three nautical miles from the harbour — as far as Dafnoudi beach to the north, the fish farms to the south, and across the channel to Polis Bay on Ithaca.
Before you set off, our team checks conditions on the Poseidon marine forecasting system to make sure the day’s weather and sea state are suitable for your route, and all rentals follow the safety framework set out by the
Hellenic Coast Guard, Greece’s maritime authority.
